The Secure Bed and Chair Alarm Set is a patient safety device that helps prevent falls and wandering among elderly patients, seniors, and those with dementia or Alzheimer’s. This monitoring device immediately alerts caregivers when a patient tries to leave the bed. The alarm monitors connect to the bed sensor and chair sensor pads and sound an alarm when the patient tries to leave the bed, chair, or wheelchair. The alarm can be silenced using the tamper-resistant 3-push reset feature or it will automatically reset when the patient returns to the pressure sensor pad. The device comes with two alarm monitors that features 2 tones, a mute function, and multiple alarm sound levels ranging from 80 to 120 dB. It is made of break-resistant ABS plastic and has tamper-resistant covers to prevent the patient from disabling the alarm. It also has a nurse call capability (Nurse Call, AC/DC & Y Adapter Sold Separately), an in-room sound on/off feature, an alert light, and a low battery indicator light. The alarm is powered by 3 AAA batteries, which are included. The bed and chair sensor pads are ultra-thin and measures 12″ x 30″ and 12″ x 12″, respectively.
